In the past 5 years Shahar was the co-founder of Jasper (formerly CreditStacks) - building a full blown new credit card company from the grounds up. Jasper raised over $20 million and is changing the way credit is done in the U.S.
Prior to that, Shahar was the founder and CEO of Stagedom. Stagedom’s goal is to revolutionize the music space with a focus on live events, mobile platforms and everything in between.
Shahar was also the founder and CEO of NuConomy, a leading web analytics and advertising company (Sold to Live Person. Nasdaq:LPSN). NuConomy was the first analytics tool to invent the concept of measuring engagement and served customers such as NBC, Fox, Wordpress and many others.
Shahar also helped pilot the Startup Chile program, that made sustainable change in the culture of Latin America that is building the next generation of local entrepreneurs.
In addition, as the business development manager of Microsoft technology center in Israel, Shahar was responsible for developing company business and marketing strategy. He also held the role of senior Microsoft Architect, where he led and architected some of the largest development projects in the world, working with governments and companies like Cup Gemini, Accenture and Bearing Point.
Shahar has written and delivered numerous courses and lectures on programming and development methodologies (Yes. He is a geek). He is a frequent speaker at global technology and advertising conferences, where he talks about the value of data and the future of digital advertising. He also advises a number of startups and larger companies, like Salesforce, eBay and others.
CreditStacks is a new kind of Credit Card company and Neo bank in the U.S. As co-founder and CTO, I was responsible for everything from concepting, architeching and building our products to building and managing a distributed team of developers. We managed to launch a full credit card company with a seklton team of 3.5 people and scale up from there. CreditStacks raised over $25M and more than $100M in credit capital and is still growing.
